Create an API key

Free to use
Free accounts can check 20 distinct IPs a day. Checking an IP again the same day does not count.
Works without a key
Without a key you get location, ASN and ISP only. The CleanIP score, IP type and risk flags need a key.
The URL is your key
The URL contains your key, so do not share it. If it leaks, delete the key on your account page and it stops working.

Replace YOUR_API_KEY in the examples with your own key.

Open Settings, go to Connectors and click Add custom connector.
Name it CleanIP, paste the URL above as the remote MCP server URL and save.
Turn on CleanIP in the tools menu of the chat box, then just ask.

ChatGPT

Open Settings, go to Apps & Connectors and turn on developer mode under Advanced settings.
Create a connector: name it CleanIP, paste the URL above as the MCP server URL and choose No authentication.
Pick the CleanIP connector in a chat, then just ask.
