LAZADA

Lazada environment check

Lazada belongs to the Alibaba group, and its seller-side environment requirements share a lineage with AliExpress. This checks which country your exit IP lands in, and whether it holds up for the one Southeast Asian storefront you actually work in.

Target market / region
Every signal above is actually measured

Scored signals use data obtained during this run: the IP profile, comparison of IP and browser timezones, and a WebRTC probe. Failed requests, missing information and blocked probes are marked unmeasured, rather than treated as confirmed types or full marks. Region match is also excluded when no target market is selected.

One thing we do NOT measure, and will not pretend to

The question that matters most when running multiple accounts — does this environment resemble my other one — cannot be answered from outside. That takes comparing against a population, or against your other environment. A single browser session can only count how many fingerprint signals it collected, and that number comes out much the same for everyone. Rather than display a near-constant in the nineties dressed up as a measurement, we say plainly that it is out of reach.

What this checks, and what it cannot

This page checks your current network and browser environment. It does not touch, and cannot see, the state of your platform account. A clean environment is not the same as a safe account — linkage decisions also rest on history, cookies, payment methods and shipping addresses, none of which are observable from outside. Treat the result as a risk indication, not a substitute for signing in and testing on the platform itself.

How this works

How Lazada decides region, and where it differs from Shopee

Lazada competes head-on with Shopee across Southeast Asia and the environment requirements are close, but two practical differences are worth knowing. What follows is industry observation; the platform does not publish risk-control details.

A narrower storefront range than Shopee

Lazada currently runs six Southeast Asian storefronts: Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines and Indonesia. Shopee additionally operates Taiwan and Brazil. If your target market is Taiwan or South America, Lazada has no matching storefront.

The practical effect on setup is that Lazada's country range is more concentrated — all between UTC+7 and UTC+8 — which makes timezone consistency comparatively easy to achieve.

Part of the Alibaba group; seller-side thinking resembles AliExpress

Lazada belongs to Alibaba, and its seller-side environment requirements share a lineage with AliExpress: a stable residential exit, a country matching where you operate, and independent environments per account.

If you sell on both AliExpress and Lazada, you can hold both to the same environment standard. Shopee is a separate system with its own conventions.

Payout is where seller-side scrutiny concentrates

Beyond sign-in, payout is the other point of concentrated review. The platform checks the sign-in IP's location, the store's registered country and the receiving account's location together, and disagreement invites manual review.

This means the environment cannot be configured for day-to-day sign-in alone — it has to hold up at payout too, or the problem surfaces at the least convenient moment.

What this check cannot see

Account standing also depends on identity verification, store credentials, product compliance and dispute history — and on the seller side, receiving account details. All of that is inside the platform.

This page answers only whether the network environment matches the target storefront. It does not assess the account or store itself.

Common questions

Why might Lazada and Shopee give different results?

They share a weight profile, so the same environment should score similarly. A large gap usually means different target storefronts were selected — Lazada has no Taiwan or Brazil storefront, so the choices themselves differ.

I sell on both AliExpress and Lazada. Are the requirements the same?

Largely yes. Both belong to the Alibaba group and the seller-side thinking shares a lineage: a stable residential exit, a matching country, independent environments per account. One standard covers both.

Why does verification only appear at payout?

Payout is where seller-side review concentrates. The platform checks the sign-in IP's location, the store's registered country and the receiving account together. Day-to-day sign-in working does not mean those three line up at payout. Configure the environment to the payout standard.

Can all six storefronts share one IP?

For buyers, browsing generally works, but you will be routed to the storefront matching that IP. For sellers it is not advisable — stores in different countries should use independent exits in their respective countries.

Does this check log my IP?

The lookup passes through our servers, so ordinary access logs are produced. We do not sell or share query records. Browser-side checks are computed locally and not uploaded.

Environment checks for other platforms

Each platform weighs things differently, so the same environment can come out very differently from one to the next. These are the other platforms we maintain a separate weight profile for.
