How is an IP lookup different from an IP purity check?
An IP lookup answers "where is this IP and who owns it" — location and ISP. A purity check goes further and answers "is this IP clean" — whether it is flagged as a proxy or datacenter, whether it appears on blocklists, and how platform risk systems are likely to treat it. This site gives you both at once.
How do I find out what my own IP address is?
You do not have to do anything — opening this page detects and displays your current outbound public IP automatically. If you have both IPv4 and IPv6, the page offers a switch to view the address of the other protocol family.
